WUBAF Supports Breman Asabiem Community Center Project with Cash Donation

The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community development and humanitarian service through a cash donation towards the Breman Asabiem Community Center Project in the Central Region of Ghana.

The support followed an appeal made by the chiefs, elders, and people of Breman Asabiem during the Foundation’s 2025/2026 Mega Outreach held in the community. During the outreach durbar, the community passionately appealed to WUBAF to support the construction of a Community Center that would serve as a place for meetings, youth empowerment programs, social gatherings, and developmental activities within the town.

Moved by the request and the developmental vision of the community, WUBAF, through the collective efforts of its executives and members, embraced the initiative and mobilized support towards the project.

On Sunday, 10th May 2026, members of WUBAF officially gathered at Breman Asabiem to present a cash donation of GHS 10,000.00 to support the commencement and continuation of the Community Center Project.

The delegation from the Central Western Zone consisted of:

  • Graham Buabeng
  • Vincent Buabeng
  • McBright

  • Felix Zormelo

The team was warmly welcomed by members of the community and the Buabeng family upon arrival. Community members showed great hospitality, unity, and excitement ahead of the presentation ceremony, with announcements made throughout the town to ensure the gathering was well attended.

The official meeting commenced at exactly 2:03 PM under the leadership of the Central Western Zone Overseer. The program began with an opening prayer led by a representative of the community.

Speaking on behalf of WUBAF, Mr. Felix Zormelo expressed appreciation for the warm reception received during the Mega Outreach and explained the purpose of the gathering. He also highlighted the vision, mission, and commitment of WUBAF towards humanitarian support, community empowerment, and sustainable development.

To ensure effective communication and understanding among all community members present, the address was interpreted into the local language by the Deputy General Organizer of WUBAF, Felix Buabeng.

A representative appointed by the chiefs and elders officially received the donation on behalf of the community. The amount presented was carefully counted before the gathering to confirm transparency and accountability.

Speaking on behalf of the chiefs, elders, youth, and people of Breman Asabiem, the community expressed profound appreciation to the leadership and members of WUBAF for remembering and supporting them during a critical period of development.

The representative acknowledged that the donation reflected genuine love, unity, and commitment towards community growth and assured the Foundation that the funds would be used for the intended purpose of constructing the Community Center for both present and future generations.

Members of the WUBAF delegation also encouraged the community to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the execution of the project, emphasizing the Foundation’s continued interest in monitoring the progress of the work.

Mr. Vincent Buabeng, on behalf of the delegation, further thanked the people of Breman Asabiem for their love, cooperation, and active participation throughout the outreach and donation process.

The meeting successfully ended at exactly 2:23 PM.

Following the official presentation, members of the delegation visited the Buabeng family house where they shared moments of fellowship and unity while enjoying refreshments together.

The team leader, Mr. Felix Zormelo, also expressed sincere appreciation to the mother of the Buabeng family called Auntie Sabina Appiah for her continuous kindness, care, and hospitality shown to members of the Foundation whenever they visited the community.

Members who traveled from outside the town departed Breman Asabiem at exactly 3:20 PM.
