The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) has launched its
Endowment Fund over the weekend.
The WUBAF Endowment Fund, which has been anticipated
for over a month, has finally been launched on the 23rd Of August 2025, with
the purpose of helping the activities of the foundation which includes, taking
care of the needy, drug addicts, the aged and many more among others.
On the 23rd Of August, the launching event began at
exactly 7:00pm on their telegram page with over 250 members of Wonadem UBA
Foundation Joined while about 20 invited guests also took part in the WUBAF
Endowment Fund Launch.
After an opening prayer by Mr. Isaac Boduwah, Wonadem
anthem which signifies the true core values of the foundation was played,
followed by the introduction of the chairman for the special occasion, by Mrs.
Audrey Attipoe Boadi.
An acceptance
speech was given by the chairman, Mr. Edward Fiawoyife, after which The Founder
and CEO of The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) Edem Edem Michael Forgive UBA
Akpeleasi, offered a welcome prayer and address, he also highlighted the
Foundation's history, vision and mission to the gathering.
However, some special dignitaries present at the
launch were acknowledged, including Togbe Atsuga Soga II, Mr. Jonathan Kuma
Gavi, Mama Tsorfor lll, Aunty Veronica Edoh, Reverend Isaac among others.
Some beneficiaries were given the opportunity to
express their profound gratitude to Wonadem UBA Foundation for a kind gesture
done them.
Meanwhile, the chairman for the Endowment Fund Board,
Dr. Seyram Kawor, has stressed on the importance of the Endowment Fund to the
foundation and also encouraged members to donate to the fund to support the
Foundation's vision and mission.
Mrs. Bless Mavis Fiawoyife, who is the Deputy General
Overseer of WUBAF, has outlined the various categories of the WUBAF Endowment
Fund and how these various donors will be appreciated or recognized after
donating to the fund.
The gathering was educated on the various mode of
donation to the fund, which is through Mobile Money transfer, Bank transfer and
through the Foundation's website.
The Mc for the occasion Miss Love UBA Afanou, who
doubled as the P.R.O of the foundation, opened the floor for the gathering to
ask their various questions , Mr. Emmanuel Doga however, answered each question
asked during the launch with Miss Love UBA Afanou and his Co
interpreter Gabriel Tetteh interpreting every detail
to the understanding of everyone individual present.
The Endowment Fund was declared duly launched by the
chairman, Mr. Edward Fiawoyife with a seed donation of Ghc10,000 by him,
followed by The Chairman of The Endowment Fund Board Dr. Seyram Kawor who also
pledged Ghc10,000 as seed to support the fund.
The General Secretary of the foundation Mr. Mawusime
Fiawoyife together with The Zonal overseer for Sunyani Mr. George Dogbey
appealed for funds from members.
Members understanding the vision of the foundation and
the reason for establishing this special fund, has pledged in their capacity
overwhelmingly to support the fund. This is a testament of their love to the
foundation's vision and mission as well as a service to humanity.
As the saying goes " The Best is always reserved
for last" the occasion couldn't have been complete without the Founder and
his lovely wife, Edem Edem Forgive Michael UBA Akpeleasi including their
children, Sowing a seed into the Endowment Fund. An amount of Ghc18,0000 was
donated by The Founder and CEO of The Wonadem UBA Foundation, Edem Edem Michael
Forgive UBA Akpeleasi popularly known as SIR UBA and his family in support of
the fund.
The event ended successfully after a closing prayer
and benediction from SIR UBA.
All thanks to The God Of SIR UBA, WUBAF Executives,
Endowment Fund Board, Media Department, Invited guests, and the entire
membership of Wonadem UBA Foundation for a successful programmed.
