
The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) Northern Zone
recently celebrated the Christening and Baptism ceremony of Mrs. Josephine
Kofinti's baby, which took place on December 6, 2025, at Kamina Barracks
Catholic Church, Tamale.
The Local Director of the Northern Zone, Mr. Dzeketey
Awoenam Nelson, represented WUBAF at the ceremony, honoring the invitation and
demonstrating the foundation's commitment to community support. The church
service commenced at 7:00 am, followed by the baptism, and concluded at 11:30
am.
After the ceremony, Mr. Nelson was invited to the
Kofinti family residence, where he presented gifts on behalf of WUBAF,
including a pack of pampers, washing powder, after wash, baby wiper, baby soap,
and Dettol. A cash gift of undisclosed amount was also presented to Mrs.
Josephine Kofinti as her welfare benefits.
Mr. Nelson expressed gratitude to the CEO and
executives of WUBAF for the opportunity to serve and represented the foundation
at the ceremony. He also thanked Almighty God for the successful event and
journey mercies.
Mrs. Josephine Kofinti was overwhelmed with joy and
gratitude for the love and support shown by WUBAF, promising to always be
thankful for the surprise gift and support from the foundation.
The WUBAF Northern Zone's involvement in the ceremony
demonstrates the foundation's commitment to spreading love, care, and support
to its members and the community at large.
