WUBAF Sunyani Zone Joins Family for One-Year Memorial and Thanksgiving Service of Late Mr. Fidelis Buabeng Ankapong

The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF), through its Sunyani Zone, demonstrated its continued commitment to family support and solidarity by joining the family of the late Mr. Fidelis Buabeng Ankapong for his one-year memorial and thanksgiving service on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

The service was held at the Methodist Church, Emmanuel Society, Yamfo, where family members, friends, church members, and loved ones gathered to honour the memory of the late Mr. Ankapong and to give thanks to God for His sustaining grace throughout the past year.

Representing WUBAF were four members from the Sunyani Zone: Ms. Theresa Akua Adom, Ms. Jane Esegbe Dogbey, Ms. Jessica Etornam Dogbey, and Mr. Eric Kwame Dopenyo. Their presence reflected the Foundation’s unwavering culture of standing with members and their families during significant moments of remembrance, reflection, and thanksgiving.

The memorial and thanksgiving service commenced at 8:14 a.m. and concluded at 12:25 p.m. Following the service, the WUBAF delegation interacted with family members and extended warm greetings on behalf of the Foundation.

During the engagement, the family shared that they had visited the graveside of the late Mr. Fidelis Buabeng Ankapong on Friday, 29th May 2026, as part of activities marking the one-year remembrance. They also expressed their profound appreciation to the leadership and members of WUBAF for the prayers, encouragement, and support received throughout the year following their loss.

The occasion served as a reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and enduring support during times of grief and remembrance. WUBAF remains committed to fostering meaningful relationships among its members and extending care to families in moments that matter most.

The Foundation is pleased to report that all members of the Sunyani Zone delegation returned home safely after the event.

WUBAF extends its continued prayers and best wishes to Madam Mary Pokuah Twumasi and the entire family, trusting that the cherished memories of their loved one will continue to inspire strength, gratitude, and hope.
