On 22nd March 2026, the Ho Zone of the Wonadem
UBA Foundation (WUBAF) demonstrated its strong sense of family, unity, and
community engagement as it participated in the child christening ceremony of Abra
Yeyrana Felicity Nyavie, daughter of Mr. Bright Nyavie-Kyie.
The memorable event took place at the Royal City
Chapel, Ho Power House, bringing together family, friends, and well-wishers
in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
A Purposeful Presence from the Start
WUBAF delegates arrived at the venue as early as 8:30am,
ready to support the family and actively participate in the ceremony. The
church service began promptly at 9:00am, setting the stage for a
meaningful and spirit-filled gathering.
The christening ceremony, which occurred between 10:25am
and 10:40am, marked a significant moment as the young child was officially
dedicated, followed by a powerful sermon that resonated deeply with the
congregation. The service concluded at 12:15pm.
A Spirit-Filled Service
The ceremony was officiated by Prophet Prince Lee,
whose leadership brought life and inspiration to the service. His sermon,
themed “From Stray to Steadfast: The Power of Listening, Learning, and
Returning through Godly Guidance,” left a lasting impact on all present.
Through vibrant worship, heartfelt prayers, and a
deeply engaging message, the atmosphere was filled with joy, reflection, and
spiritual renewal.
WUBAF Representation: A True Family
Presence
Although the Ho Zone delegation was initially expected
to include six members, unforeseen circumstances prevented Ms. Priscilla
Ada-Yevu from attending. Despite this, five dedicated members proudly
represented WUBAF:
Dressed in official foundation attire, the team
embodied the spirit and identity of WUBAF. Their presence was warmly
acknowledged by both the church leadership and the host family, and the
Foundation’s goodwill message was delivered during the service.
Moments That Stood Out
Beyond mere attendance, WUBAF members actively
participated and contributed to the energy of the service. Their enthusiasm was
evident as they engaged in worship, responded passionately during the sermon,
and helped uplift the atmosphere.
At moments when energy levels dipped, WUBAF members
stepped in with chants and encouragement, keeping the congregation lively and
engaged. Their spirited involvement did not go unnoticed.
In fact, their presence drew the attention of Prophet
Prince Lee, who paused to learn more about WUBAF. This led to an
interactive moment during the service, where the Foundation’s mission and
impact were highlighted, leaving a strong and positive impression on the
congregation.
Strengthening Bonds Beyond the Service
Following the church service, attendees were hosted at
the family’s in-law residence at Market Top, where refreshments were
served in a warm and welcoming environment.
This provided an opportunity for WUBAF members to
interact with the family, church members, and other guests—further
strengthening relationships and reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to
community and togetherness.
At 2:00pm, the WUBAF delegation departed for
their respective destinations, bringing a close to a fulfilling and impactful
day.
A Reflection of WUBAF Values
The Ho Zone’s participation in the christening
ceremony went beyond representation—it reflected the true essence of WUBAF: love,
unity, and meaningful engagement.
Members did not attend merely as guests but as family,
seamlessly integrating into the celebration and leaving a lasting impression
through their actions and presence.
Conclusion
The WUBAF Ho Zone’s involvement in this special
occasion was both impactful and deeply appreciated. It served as a reminder of
the importance of showing up, supporting one another, and building strong
community connections.
As always, gratitude is extended to the GREAT
GOSUBA for granting the opportunity to celebrate life’s milestones
together. With the continued support and guidance of leadership, WUBAF remains
committed to upholding its values and strengthening its presence in every
community it touches.
