The spirit of love, unity, and togetherness was
beautifully demonstrated on Saturday, 2nd May 2026, as members of the Wonadem
UBA Foundation gathered at the Global Evangelical Church, Effiakuma in Takoradi
to celebrate the marriage ceremony of Mr. & Mrs. Tetteh.
The colorful and memorable occasion brought together
members from the Central Western Zone, Accra Zone, and Ho Zone of the
Foundation, all united in support of the newly wedded couple. The event
reflected the Foundationâs strong commitment to family support, community
bonding, and genuine love among members.
To ensure a smooth journey and avoid travel-related
challenges, some members from the Accra and Ho Zones departed Accra on 1st May
2026 at approximately 2:00 PM and safely arrived in Takoradi around 10:00 PM.
Members from the Central Western Zone also traveled early on the morning of the
ceremony and arrived in good time before proceedings commenced.
The wedding service officially began at 10:45 AM with
uplifting ministration from the church choir, followed by a powerful praise and
worship session led by the Voice of Praise team. The atmosphere was filled with
joy and thanksgiving as family members gracefully ushered the bride, Gladys
Tetteh, into the auditorium.
The officiating pastor later led the couple through
the exchange of marriage vows and rings, symbolizing their covenant of love and
lifelong commitment. Prayers were offered for the couple, dedicating their
union into the hands of God, after which the marriage certificate was
officially signed amidst celebration and thanksgiving.
One of the most memorable moments during the ceremony
was the special recognition given to members of WUBAF. Members joyfully moved
to the front of the church with songs of celebration, creating an atmosphere of
unity and excitement within the congregation.
The Deputy General Overseer, Mavis Bless Dravie,
officially introduced the Foundation and highlighted its vision and purpose.
She then handed over to the General Overseer, Prof. Seyram Kawor, who delivered
inspiring remarks and presented a special citation to the newly wedded couple
on behalf of the Founder, CEO, Executives, Representatives, and the entire
membership of WUBAF.
The presentation was warmly received and served as a
strong reflection of the Foundationâs values of appreciation, support, and
community development.
Following the church service, which ended around 2:00
PM, members moved outside the church premises to continue fellowship over
lunch. The newly married couple generously provided quality refreshments and
ensured all WUBAF members were well catered for throughout the event. In
addition, all members received customized souvenir glass cups as gifts, a kind
gesture that was deeply appreciated by everyone present.
An introduction and networking session was later
organized and led by Mavis Bless Dravie, giving members the opportunity to
interact, build stronger relationships, and deepen the spirit of unity across
various zones.
The WUBAF Media Team, led by Head of Department
Elikplim Butsormekpor and Assistant Head Margaret Gador, played a significant
role in documenting memorable moments and keeping the larger WUBAF family
updated throughout the ceremony.
Special recognition also goes to the Deputy General
Organizer, Felix Buabeng JNR UBA, the Central Western Zone Overseer, Mr. Felix
Zormelo, and all executives who worked tirelessly to coordinate transportation,
member arrangements, safety, and overall comfort for all registered
participants.
The event officially concluded around 3:30 PM as
members departed peacefully to their various destinations.
Indeed, the marriage ceremony of Mr. & Mrs. Tetteh
was beautiful, successful, and well-coordinated. It once again demonstrated the
spirit of love, care, unity, and service that defines the mission of Wonadem
UBA Foundation.
The Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to the
Founder and CEO, Executives, Representatives, and all members for their
unwavering dedication to impacting lives and supporting one another.
May GREAT GOSUBA continue to bless and strengthen
WUBAF as the Foundation grows from strength to strength.
We Love, We Care, We Comfort.
