The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) has once again
demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community development, social
welfare, and humanitarian service through a cash donation towards the Breman
Asabiem Community Center Project in the Central Region of Ghana.
This support followed an appeal made by the chiefs,
elders, and people of Breman Asabiem during the Foundation’s 2025/2026 Mega
Outreach held in the community. During the outreach durbar, community leaders
passionately appealed to WUBAF to assist in the construction of a Community
Center that would serve as a hub for meetings, youth empowerment programs,
social gatherings, and other developmental activities within the town.
Recognizing the importance of the project and its
potential impact on the community, WUBAF embraced the initiative and mobilized
support through the collective efforts of its executives and members.
On Sunday, 10th May 2026, members of the Foundation
officially gathered at Breman Asabiem to present an undisclosed cash donation
towards the commencement and continuation of the Community Center Project.
The delegation from the Central Western Zone consisted
of Felix Buabeng, Graham Buabeng, Vincent Buabeng, McBright, Nuzareth Nketiah,
and Felix Zormelo.
Upon arrival, the delegation received a warm welcome
from members of the community and the Buabeng family. Community members
demonstrated remarkable hospitality, unity, and enthusiasm ahead of the
presentation ceremony, with announcements made throughout the town to ensure
broad participation.
The official meeting commenced at exactly 2:03 p.m.
under the leadership of the Central Western Zone Overseer and began with an
opening prayer led by a representative of the community.
Speaking on behalf of WUBAF, Mr. Felix Zormelo
expressed appreciation for the warm reception received during the Foundation’s
Mega Outreach and explained the purpose of the gathering. He highlighted
WUBAF’s vision, mission, and commitment to humanitarian support, community
empowerment, and sustainable development initiatives across Ghana.
To ensure effective communication and understanding
among all community members present, the address was interpreted into the local
language by the Deputy General Organizer of WUBAF, Felix Buabeng.
A representative appointed by the chiefs and elders
officially received the donation on behalf of the community. In the spirit of
transparency and accountability, the donation was carefully counted before the
gathering prior to presentation.
Speaking on behalf of the chiefs, elders, youth, and
people of Breman Asabiem, the community representative expressed profound
gratitude to the leadership and members of WUBAF for responding positively to
their appeal and supporting the project during a critical stage of development.
The representative acknowledged that the donation
reflected genuine love, unity, and commitment to community growth and assured
the Foundation that the funds would be utilized for their intended purpose—the
construction of a Community Center that would benefit both present and future
generations.
Members of the WUBAF delegation also encouraged
community leaders to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the
implementation of the project, emphasizing the Foundation’s continued interest
in monitoring its progress and impact.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Vincent Buabeng
further thanked the people of Breman Asabiem for their cooperation,
hospitality, and active participation throughout both the outreach and donation
processes.
The official meeting concluded successfully at exactly
2:23 p.m.
Following the presentation ceremony, members of the
delegation visited the Buabeng family house, where they shared moments of
fellowship, unity, and interaction while enjoying refreshments together.
The team leader, Mr. Felix Zormelo, also expressed
sincere appreciation to Auntie Sabina Appiah, mother of the Buabeng family, for
her continuous kindness, care, and hospitality towards members of the
Foundation whenever they visit the community.
Members travelling from outside the town departed
Breman Asabiem at exactly 3:20 p.m.
The successful donation towards the Breman Asabiem
Community Center Project stands as another testament to the dedication of the
Wonadem UBA Foundation to promoting social welfare, empowering communities,
strengthening unity, and supporting sustainable development initiatives across
Ghana.
Through acts of compassion, service, and practical
support, WUBAF continues to impact lives, create opportunities, and bring hope,
transformation, and development to communities in need.
As the Community Center Project progresses, the
Foundation remains committed to partnering with communities to build a better
future for all.
