The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) has once again
demonstrated its commitment to compassion, unity, and humanitarian service
through a visitation to Mr. Emmanuel Doga at Lekman Hospital on Thursday, 28th
May 2026.
The visitation formed part of the Foundation’s ongoing
efforts to provide emotional, moral, and practical support to members and
individuals facing health challenges. Through such acts of kindness, WUBAF
continues to reinforce its belief that no one should face difficult moments
alone.
A delegation of Foundation members arrived at the
hospital premises at approximately 10:45 a.m., where they took time to prepare
and package items purchased for the visit before proceeding to the ward.
Although official visiting hours had not yet commenced, the team respectfully
sought permission from the nurse in charge and was granted access to visit Mr.
Doga.
Upon arrival at the ward, members were warmly received
by Mr. Emmanuel Doga, Mr. Philip Ametame, and family members present. The
atmosphere was characterized by care, encouragement, and fellowship as members
interacted with the patient and his relatives.
Mr. Seth Besah officially conveyed greetings and best
wishes on behalf of the Wonadem UBA Foundation and explained the purpose of the
visitation. This was followed by a prayer led by Mrs. Ruth Akusika-Tibu, who
prayed for God's healing, strength, protection, and complete restoration for
Mr. Doga.
As part of the Foundation’s support, the delegation
presented various food and wellness items to Mr. Emmanuel Doga to assist him
during his recovery. In addition, an undisclosed cash donation from Sir UBA
Empire was presented as a gesture of support and encouragement. A separate food
package was also presented to Mr. Philip Ametame, reflecting the Foundation’s
culture of extending care not only to patients but also to family members who
provide support during difficult times.
Members took turns offering words of encouragement and
reassurance, expressing their concern for Mr. Doga’s wellbeing and wishing him
a speedy and complete recovery. The interaction provided an opportunity to
strengthen bonds of friendship and solidarity while reminding him that he
remains valued and supported by the WUBAF family.
The family expressed heartfelt appreciation to the
Foundation for the visit, prayers, gifts, and financial support. They
acknowledged the significance of such gestures during periods of illness and
thanked members for taking time to share in their journey toward recovery.
Following the presentation, members engaged in further
interaction and fellowship before departing the hospital premises. The visit
concluded successfully, and by the grace of God, all participating members
returned home safely.
The successful visitation once again reflects the core
values of the Wonadem UBA Foundation—love, compassion, unity, and service to
humanity. Beyond its projects and outreach activities, WUBAF continues to stand
by its members and communities during challenging times, providing hope,
comfort, and practical support where it is needed most.
As a Foundation, we pray for renewed strength, good
health, and a speedy recovery for Mr. Emmanuel Doga as he continues his journey
toward full wellness.
We Love, We Care, We Comfort.
