The WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION (WUBAF) Ho Zone
successfully organized its 2026 Zonal Get-Together on July 26, 2026, at
the Ho Depot in the Volta Region.
The gathering brought members together for fellowship,
appreciation, collective decision-making, review of zonal affairs, and planning
towards future activities. It also provided an opportunity to strengthen
relationships among members and renew the zone's commitment to the vision and
humanitarian objectives of WUBAF.
The program commenced at 3:15 PM and was
moderated by Ms. Caroline Agbolosoo and Mr. Bright Ametsitsi.
The program opened with a prayer led by Miss
Bridget Nanevi, followed by self-introductions and the introduction of the
Chairperson and Assistant Chairperson, Mr. Agbesi Nukporwoe and Ms.
Bless Mavis Dravie.
In her welcome address, the Ho Zonal Overseer, Ms.
Bernice Achea, expressed appreciation to members for their dedication and
participation. She emphasized the importance of unity, commitment, sacrifice,
and active involvement in strengthening WUBAF and advancing its objectives.
Several important matters concerning the
administration and development of the Ho Zone were discussed.
Members unanimously agreed to the reintroduction of a GH¢5 monthly zonal due,
while maintaining the existing voluntary contribution system. The decision is
intended to strengthen the zone's financial capacity and support its programs
and activities.
Members deliberated on the management and allocation of voluntary
contributions, including proposals concerning the portion retained by the zone
and the amount allocated to designated purposes. The existing 20%/80%
arrangement remained under consideration for an appropriate final decision.
The zone identified essential items required to improve its capacity to
organize programs and provide logistical support. These included plates,
spoons, cups, rubber boxes, mats, chairs, a sound system, and a canopy.
Members discussed a proposal for the Ho Zone to acquire 10 chairs as
part of WUBAF's One Member, One Chair Initiative. Further consultation
with members was proposed before implementation.
The upcoming WUBAF 2026/2027 End-of-Year Mega
Outreach received significant attention during the gathering.
Members were encouraged to support the humanitarian program

The Ho Zone reaffirmed its commitment to supporting
WUBAF's efforts to extend love, care, and practical assistance to vulnerable
and underprivileged communities.
Strengthening Zonal Administration
A dedicated committee was introduced to support the Ho
Zonal Leadership in the coordination and administration of zonal affairs.
The committee is expected to assist with member
engagement, coordination, planning, and implementation of zonal activities,
contributing to a more effective and organized structure within the zone.
A key part of the gathering was the recognition and
appreciation of members and leaders for their contributions.
Ms. Bless Mavis Dravie
presented a citation to the Zonal Executives on behalf of the Ho Zone in
recognition of their dedication and service.
The zone also recognized Mr. Kenneth Dramani Karim
for his academic achievement after graduating with a Bachelor of Public
Health (B.PH) in Nutrition from the University of Health and Allied Sciences
(UHAS).
His recognition demonstrated WUBAF Ho Zone's
commitment to celebrating academic excellence, personal development,
achievement, and service to humanity.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Agbesi Nukporwoe,
Chairperson for the gathering, encouraged members to remain committed to WUBAF
and support the upcoming Mega Outreach according to their individual
capacities.
He further encouraged members to improve punctuality
at future programmes and expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to
the success of the gathering.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Saraphine
Ayivi, while the closing prayer was led by Ms. Patience Xornam Edifor.
The programme officially ended at 6:00 PM.
Although the planned Borborbor/Jama display could
not take place due to time constraints, the gathering successfully achieved its
major objectives of fellowship, member engagement, appreciation, deliberation,
planning, and strengthening commitment to WUBAF's mission.
The 2026 Ho Zone Zonal Get-Together served as
an important platform for strengthening relationships among members, improving
zonal administration, recognizing achievements, and mobilizing support for
upcoming Foundation programs.
The resolutions and discussions from the gathering are
expected to contribute to improved member participation, stronger financial and
logistical preparedness, and greater support for WUBAF's humanitarian
initiatives.
As the Foundation continues preparations for the 2026/2027
End-of-Year Mega Outreach, the Ho Zone remains committed to contributing
meaningfully to WUBAF's mission of supporting vulnerable people and creating
positive change in communities.
