On Sunday, 8th March 2026, members of the Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) from the Cent–West Zone gathered in Takoradi to celebrate and support Mr. and Mrs. Nyidewu during the child dedication ceremony of their son, Sachiel Dzorgbenyui Nyidewu.

The event was held at the Global Evangelical Church, Grace Chapel, bringing together family, friends, and congregants in a joyful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

A Spirit-Filled Dedication Service

Members arrived early at the church premises, demonstrating WUBAF’s strong culture of unity and support.

  • The main church service began at 10:10 a.m. and ended at 11:40 a.m.
  • The child dedication ceremony followed immediately and concluded at 12:00 p.m.

During the ceremony, the officiating pastor committed baby Sachiel into God’s hands, offering prayers for:

  • Divine protection
  • Wisdom and guidance
  • A purposeful and fulfilling life

Prayers were also offered for the parents, asking for strength and wisdom in raising their child.

Fellowship and Cultural Experience

After the church service, members moved to the residence of the Nyidewu family for a time of fellowship and bonding.

The gathering reflected WUBAF’s strong family-oriented values and cultural appreciation. Members were treated to:

  • Aye-Kple, a cherished traditional delicacy
  • Fresh palm wine
  • Assorted drinks provided for members

This created a warm, welcoming environment filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful interactions.

Appreciation to the Founder

Members expressed sincere gratitude to the Founder, Sir UBA, for establishing a platform that continues to unite individuals across different regions.

Through his vision, WUBAF has grown into more than an organization—it is a family that promotes unity, support, and connection among its members.

Living the Values of WUBAF

This event highlighted the core values that define the foundation:

  • Unity and togetherness
  • Mutual support among members
  • Strong community bonds
  • Socialization and networking
  • Cultural appreciation and respect for family values

These principles remain central to WUBAF’s mission and activities across Ghana.
