Program Overview

On 30th and 31st January, 2026, Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) demonstrated its unwavering commitment to love, care, and comfort by supporting Mr. and Mrs. Dzakago during the funeral rites of their late father in Sogakope.

This engagement formed part of the foundation’s ongoing mission to stand with its members and communities in moments of both joy and sorrow, in alignment with the biblical principle:
“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.”

Objectives of the Engagement

  • To provide emotional, social, and organizational support to the bereaved family
  • To demonstrate unity, compassion, and responsibility among members
  • To strengthen fellowship and internal bonds within the foundation
  • To uphold cultural values and community traditions with dignity

Key Activities

  • Advance Preparations:
An advance team from the Catering Department, led by Mrs. Celikem Akplor (Head of Department), arrived early to commence preparations. The Media Department later joined to support documentation and assigned duties in accordance with family directives.

WUBAF members attended the church service, which commenced at 9:10 a.m. The service reflected on the life, faith, and contributions of the deceased, including his role in supporting the church’s development. The service concluded at 12:17 p.m.
  • Fellowship and Dining:
Members gathered at the reception venue for dining, interaction, and introductions, reinforcing unity and strengthening relationships within the foundation.
  • Donation & Cultural Participation:
A donation of items was presented to the foundation by Mr. Suglo Sampson Koby and received on behalf of WUBAF by the Assistant General Overseer. Members later participated in a lively borborbor cultural dance, with strong involvement from the Sisterhood.
