The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) successfully executed its 2026@6 Mini Outreach Program at Mampong Shai D/A Basic School as part of its ongoing commitment to community development, education, and social impact.

Program Highlights

Arrival & Opening Ceremony

The program commenced at 11:00 AM with the arrival of members and guests.

The Master of Ceremony, Ms. Love Afanou, warmly welcomed attendees and introduced the purpose of the gathering. The session featured:

  • Introduction of dignitaries
  • Rendition of the WUBAF anthem
  • Opening remarks reflecting the Foundation’s mission

A special moment was observed as members celebrated the birthday of the Founder and CEO, Mr. Edem Edem Michael Forgive UBA Akpeleasi, popularly known as SIR UBA with a joyful rendition of a birthday song.


Remarks from School Authorities

Representatives from the school, including PTA members and staff, expressed deep appreciation for WUBAF’s intervention—particularly the renovation of the kindergarten block.

They highlighted the importance of improved learning environments and encouraged students to make the most of the opportunity provided.


Donor’s Address

The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Seyram Kawor, who emphasized:

He also encouraged collaboration among stakeholders such as:

Unveiling & Handover Ceremony

The official unveiling and handover of the renovated facility and donated items were conducted by WUBAF executives, school authorities, and community leaders.

The Headmaster and community representatives expressed heartfelt gratitude to WUBAF, noting that:

Initial doubts due to past unfulfilled promises were replaced with trust and admiration following the successful delivery of this project.
