The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF), through its Sunyani Zone, continues to demonstrate its commitment to compassion, solidarity, and family support by standing with members and their loved ones during important moments of remembrance and reflection.

On Sunday, 31st May 2026, representatives of the Foundation joined the family of the late Mr. Fidelis Buabeng Ankapong at the Methodist Church, Emmanuel Society, Yamfo, for his one-year memorial and thanksgiving service. The gathering brought together family members, friends, church members, and well-wishers to honor his memory and express gratitude to God for His sustaining grace over the past year.

Representing WUBAF at the service were Ms. Theresa Akua Adom, Ms. Jane Esegbe Dogbey, Ms. Jessica Etornam Dogbey, and Mr. Eric Kwame Dopenyo. Their presence reflected the Foundation’s enduring culture of care and its commitment to supporting members and their families through both joyful and challenging moments of life.

The memorial and thanksgiving service commenced at 8:14 a.m. and concluded at 12:25 p.m., creating an opportunity for worship, reflection, and thanksgiving while celebrating the life and legacy of the late Mr. Fidelis Buabeng Ankapong.

Following the service, members of the WUBAF delegation interacted with family members and conveyed warm greetings, encouragement, and best wishes on behalf of the Foundation. During the engagement, the family shared that they had visited the graveside of their beloved relative on Friday, 29th May 2026, as part of activities marking the one-year remembrance.

The family also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the leadership and members of WUBAF for the prayers, encouragement, and support extended to them throughout the year following their loss. They acknowledged the Foundation’s continued presence and concern as a source of comfort and strength during a difficult period.

The occasion served as a powerful reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and enduring support in times of grief and remembrance. It also highlighted WUBAF’s dedication to fostering meaningful relationships among members and extending care to families during moments that matter most.

The Foundation is pleased to report that all members of the Sunyani Zone delegation returned home safely after the event.

As an organization founded on the principles of love, care, and service, WUBAF remains committed to strengthening family bonds, promoting unity, and providing support to members and communities across Ghana.
