On Sunday, April 5, 2026, the Wonadem UBA Foundation
(WUBAF) once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to unity, compassion,
and community support through its participation in the naming and dedication
ceremony of Baby Kevin Aseye Agbemetsi. The memorable event took place at the
Global Evangelical Church, Logba Alakpeti, in a spiritually uplifting and
joyful atmosphere.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the
life of the newborn, as he was officially dedicated to God through prayers and
blessings for a prosperous and purpose-driven future. It also served as a
meaningful opportunity for WUBAF to reinforce its mission of supporting members
during important life events while promoting strong family and cultural values.
WUBAF members began arriving at the venue as early as
7:10 a.m., showcasing their dedication, enthusiasm, and strong sense of
responsibility toward the Foundation and its members. The church service
officially commenced at 8:30 a.m. in an atmosphere filled with gratitude,
worship, and heartfelt prayers, emphasizing the importance of raising children
in a God-centered environment. The service concluded successfully at 12:30
p.m., bringing the spiritual segment of the event to a close.
The event was graced by a vibrant delegation of WUBAF
members from different zones, reflecting the Foundation’s unity and widespread
presence. Members including Mr. Emil Dzorkpey, Mad. Mavis Ananga, Mad. Linda
Amevor, Mad. Vida Kpedzroku, Mad. Bernice Avor (Kumasi Zone), Mad. Ruth Asiedu,
Mad. Patience Akom, Mr. Addison Botokro, Mad. Malvin Azornu, Mad. Jennifer Anku
(Ho Zone), and Mr. Donne Edzekpedzi (Accra Zone) were present. Their collective
participation highlighted the deep sense of belonging and family that defines
WUBAF, as members came together to celebrate and support one of their own.
Through solemn prayers and blessings, Baby Kevin Aseye
Agbemetsi was entrusted into God’s care, symbolizing the beginning of a life
rooted in strong spiritual and moral foundations. The ceremony emphasized
essential values such as faith, discipline, love, and guidance, all of which
are central to raising responsible and purpose-driven individuals.
Following the church service, WUBAF members proceeded
to the residence of the Agbemetsi family, arriving at approximately 1:00 p.m.
for refreshments and continued fellowship. In line with the Foundation’s core
values, members presented gifts, shared encouraging words, and offered
emotional support to the family. This thoughtful gesture reinforced WUBAF’s
belief that genuine care extends beyond formal gatherings, ensuring that every
member feels valued and supported.
The gathering at the residence officially ended at
3:00 p.m. However, due to rainfall, members extended their stay and eventually
departed between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., further reflecting the warmth and
unity that characterized the day.
The event also highlighted the importance of
preserving Ghanaian traditions and fostering communal living. WUBAF’s active
involvement in such ceremonies continues to strengthen interpersonal
relationships among members while promoting cultural identity and inclusiveness
within the communities it serves.
Overall, the ceremony was successfully carried out in
a peaceful, well-coordinated, and joyful atmosphere, leaving lasting memories
for both the Agbemetsi family and all attendees. WUBAF’s presence made a
meaningful impact by strengthening bonds, demonstrating solidarity, and
reinforcing its commitment to building a compassionate and supportive
community.
The child dedication ceremony of Baby Kevin Aseye
Agbemetsi was not only a celebration of new life but also a powerful reflection
of the values that define the Wonadem UBA Foundation—love, care, unity, and
service to humanity. Through its participation, WUBAF continues to stand as
more than just an organization; it remains a family dedicated to uplifting
lives, supporting its members, and spreading compassion across communities.
