WUBAF Strengthens Bonds of Love and Unity at the Wedding Celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Tetteh

The atmosphere at the Global Evangelical Church, Effiakuma in Takoradi was filled with joy, celebration, and unity on Saturday, 2nd May 2026, as members of the Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) gathered to witness and celebrate the marriage ceremony of Mr. & Mrs. Tetteh.

The memorable occasion brought together WUBAF members from the Central Western Zone, Accra Zone, and Ho Zone, all united in love and support for the newly wedded couple. The event beautifully reflected the Foundation’s core values of compassion, togetherness, and meaningful community support.

To ensure a safe and smooth journey, members from the Accra and Ho Zones departed Accra on Friday, 1st May 2026, at approximately 2:00 PM and arrived safely in Takoradi around 10:00 PM. Members from the Central Western Zone also traveled early on the day of the ceremony and arrived before the commencement of proceedings.

The wedding service officially began at 10:45 AM with uplifting ministration from the church choir, followed by an energetic praise and worship session led by the Voice of Praise team. The congregation was filled with excitement and thanksgiving as family members gracefully ushered the bride, Gladys Tetteh, into the auditorium.

The officiating pastor later led the couple through the exchange of vows and rings, symbolizing their covenant of love and lifelong commitment. Prayers were offered for the couple, dedicating their union into the hands of God, after which the marriage certificate was officially signed amidst applause and celebration.

One of the most remarkable moments during the ceremony was the recognition of WUBAF members by the congregation. Members joyfully moved to the front of the church in songs of celebration, creating an atmosphere of excitement and solidarity that reflected the Foundation’s unity.

During the ceremony, the Deputy General Overseer, Mavis Bless Dravie, officially introduced WUBAF and highlighted the Foundation’s vision and mission. She subsequently invited the General Overseer, Prof. Seyram Kawor, who delivered inspiring remarks and presented a special citation to the newly married couple on behalf of the Founder, CEO, Executives, Representatives, and the entire membership of WUBAF.

The presentation was warmly received and served as a strong symbol of appreciation, love, and support from the Foundation to the couple.

Following the church service, which ended around 2:00 PM, members continued fellowship outside the church premises over lunch and refreshments. The newly married couple ensured all WUBAF members were well catered for throughout the event. Members also received customized souvenir glass cups as gifts, a thoughtful gesture that was deeply appreciated.

An introduction and networking session later organized by Mavis Bless Dravie gave members the opportunity to interact, strengthen relationships, and promote unity among various zones of the Foundation.

The WUBAF Media Team, led by Head of Department Elikplim Butsormekpor and Assistant Head Margaret Gador, also played a significant role in documenting memorable moments and keeping the larger WUBAF family updated throughout the celebration.

Special appreciation goes to the Deputy General Organizer, Felix Buabeng JNR UBA, the Central Western Zone Overseer, Mr. Felix Zormelo, and all executives who worked tirelessly to coordinate transportation, member welfare, safety, and the overall comfort of participants.

The event officially concluded around 3:30 PM as members peacefully departed to their various destinations.

Indeed, the marriage ceremony of Mr. & Mrs. Tetteh was beautiful, successful, and well-coordinated. More importantly, it once again demonstrated the spirit of love, care, unity, and service that continues to define the mission of the Wonadem UBA Foundation.

WUBAF extends heartfelt appreciation to the Founder and CEO, Executives, Representatives, and all members for their unwavering commitment to supporting one another and impacting lives positively.

May GREAT GOSUBA continue to bless and strengthen WUBAF as the Foundation continues to grow from strength to strength.

We Love, We Care, We Comfort.
