WUBAF Strengthens Bonds Through Inspiring Courtesy Visit to Mr. & Mrs. Ansi in Jasikan

The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) continues to deepen its commitment to relationship building, mentorship, and community impact through meaningful engagements with individuals who share in its vision of unity, growth, and service.

On Saturday, 3rd May 2026, members of the Foundation paid a goodwill visit to Mr. & Mrs. Ansi at Jasikan in the Oti Region of Ghana. The visit commenced at 4:10pm when members gathered at Agenda 111 before proceeding to the Ansi residence at 4:13pm.

The delegation received a warm welcome from Mr. Ansi, who opened the fellowship with prayer and shared a powerful exhortation from Philippians 2:1-11, encouraging humility, unity, and selfless service among members. His message resonated deeply with the mission and values of WUBAF.

Mr. Ansi, who served as Vice Principal to the Founder and CEO of WUBAF, Mr. Edem Michael Forgive UBA Akpeleasi (Sir UBA), during his days at Jasikan College of Education ten years ago, also shared valuable life lessons with the delegation. Popularly known among his former students as “Check Yourselves,” he reminded members of the importance of prioritizing their health and paying attention to their wellbeing before embarking on daily activities. His words served as a timely reminder that good health remains essential for fulfilling one’s purpose.

During interactions, Mr. & Mrs. Ansi expressed keen interest in learning more about the Foundation. Members confidently shared insights into WUBAF’s mission, vision, operational zones, departments, and ongoing projects, highlighting the Foundation’s dedication to youth empowerment, community development, and humanitarian service.

The visit also became a platform for productive discussions and future-oriented ideas. Mrs. Ansi proposed that the Foundation collaborate with secondary school teachers to organize orientation sessions for graduating students, particularly young girls, to prepare them for life after Senior High School. Drawing from her medical background, she further expressed interest in joining WUBAF’s Health Department to provide practical health education and wellness tips to members.

Mr. Ansi also recommended the introduction of monthly or quarterly prayer meetings among members to strengthen unity and spiritual growth within the Foundation. As a sign of continued partnership and interest in the Foundation’s activities, he documented the names, professions, and contact details of members present while also sharing his family’s contact information for future collaboration.

Mr. & Mrs. Ansi expressed heartfelt appreciation to God, Sir UBA, and all members who represented the Foundation during the visit. The gathering concluded at 5:48pm with a closing prayer led by Mr. Ansi, while Madam Vida Kpedzroku thanked members for honoring the visit despite the short notice and wished everyone safe travels back to their destinations.

The delegation included Maxwell Aho, Rebecca Kotoe, Gloria Adzrago, Gmasay Tawiah Yandal, Ama Ruth, Bernice Avor, Edusah Annor Diana, Vida Kpedzroku, and Worlasi Esinam Nusenu-Agbemetsi.

The Wonadem UBA Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to build bridges, share knowledge, uplift communities, and raise a generation of purpose-driven leaders through love, care, and service.
