WUBAF Accra Zone Shows Compassionate Support to Mr. Gabriel Sogbe During Recovery

The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) continues to uphold its mission of promoting love, unity, compassion, and social support through meaningful acts of kindness toward members and communities.

On Friday, 9th May 2026, the Accra Zone of the Foundation organized a visitation to Mr. Gabriel Sogbe at East Legon A.R.S. Junction in Accra following his recent eye surgery. The purpose of the visit was to check on his wellbeing, encourage him throughout his recovery journey, and demonstrate the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to care and emotional support.

The visitation team comprised:

1.    Miss Bridgette Cobbinah

2.    Mr. Seth Kweku Bessah

3.    Miss Veronica Esinam Agbodzi

4.    Mr. Lebene Kornyo

The delegation assembled at Madina Station before journeying together to East Legon A.R.S. Junction, arriving at exactly 8:50 a.m. Upon arrival, members warmly introduced themselves and exchanged pleasantries with Mr. Gabriel Sogbe in an atmosphere filled with love, concern, and encouragement.

The visit officially commenced with an opening prayer led by Mr. Seth Kweku Bessah, who committed the health and recovery of Mr. Gabriel Sogbe into the hands of God.

During interactions with the delegation, Mr. Gabriel Sogbe shared details about his eye condition and surgery. According to him, the issue initially began as a cataract condition for which he sought medical attention. However, due to delays in undergoing surgery, the condition gradually worsened over time.

He used the opportunity to encourage members and the general public to seek immediate medical care whenever they experience health challenges, emphasizing that delayed treatment can sometimes lead to more serious complications.

Members of the delegation offered words of hope, comfort, and reassurance, reminding him that he was not alone during his recovery process. The visit strongly reflected the Foundation’s mission of standing with members during difficult moments and providing emotional, moral, and practical support whenever necessary.

As part of the visitation, the team presented provisions and an envelope containing financial support to assist Mr. Gabriel Sogbe during his recovery period. The presentation symbolized WUBAF’s culture of generosity, compassion, and genuine concern for the wellbeing of its members and loved ones.

Photographs were later taken to capture memorable moments shared during the visit, after which a closing prayer was offered by Mr. Seth Kweku Bessah before members departed peacefully to their various homes at exactly 10:20 a.m.

The Accra Zone also expressed sincere appreciation to Mr. Seth Kweku Bessah for generously covering transportation expenses for members from Madina to the venue. Members further thanked God for His protection after the vehicle carrying Miss Bridgette Cobbinah and Mr. Seth Kweku Bessah experienced a flat tire on their way to the visitation. By God’s grace, no harm occurred and the journey continued safely.

This successful visitation once again demonstrated the core values and objectives of the Wonadem UBA Foundation — promoting love, unity, care, emotional support, and positive community impact. Beyond organizational activities, WUBAF continues to prove that it is truly a family that genuinely cares about the welfare of its members.

The Accra Zone remains committed to strengthening bonds among members and extending support to those in need through meaningful acts of kindness and fellowship.

We pray for speedy healing, renewed strength, and complete recovery for Mr. Gabriel Sogbe.
