Empowering Lives in Jasikan: WUBAF Donates Oven to Support Local Entrepreneur

At the heart of every thriving community lies compassion, unity, and a shared commitment to uplift one another. The Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) once again demonstrated these values through a meaningful outreach initiative in Jasikan.

A Step Toward Economic Empowerment

On April 11, 2026, members of WUBAF embarked on a mission to make a difference in the life of Madam Rejoyce Twumwa. Identified as someone in genuine need of support, she received a double-door gas oven to help her establish a bakery business.

This initiative reflects WUBAF’s unwavering commitment to empowering individuals with practical tools that promote financial independence and long-term sustainability.

Bringing Hope to the Community

The day began with members gathering at the Anglican Primary School before proceeding to Madam Rejoyce’s residence. The atmosphere was filled with purpose and unity as the program commenced with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Lornam Agbaglo Fugah.

Welcoming members, Ms. Emmanuella Ama Bleboo expressed appreciation for their dedication and emphasized the importance of collective effort in driving community impact.

Leadership That Inspires Change

The donation was made on behalf of WUBAF’s Chief Executive Officer, Edem Edem Michael Forgive Uba Akpeleasi (Sir UBA), whose visionary leadership continues to guide the Foundation’s mission of transforming lives.

Through initiatives like this, WUBAF proves that empowerment goes beyond words—it is about taking action and creating opportunities.

A Grateful Heart and a Brighter Future

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Madam Rejoyce Twumwa thanked God, the leadership of WUBAF, and all members present for their kindness. She expressed her determination to make good use of the oven as she begins her journey into entrepreneurship.

Her story is a powerful reminder that a single act of generosity can ignite hope and open doors to a better future.

More Than a Donation

The event concluded with a closing prayer led by Madam Vida Kpedzroku, followed by a time of fellowship among members. Beyond the donation, the gathering reinforced the spirit of unity and shared purpose that defines WUBAF.

Living the WUBAF Mission

This outreach highlights the Foundation’s core values:

  • Compassion – Supporting individuals beyond boundaries
  • Empowerment – Enabling self-reliance through practical support
  • Unity – Working together to create impact
  • Community Development – Building stronger, resilient societies

Looking Ahead

As WUBAF continues its journey, initiatives like this serve as a testament to its mission of transforming lives and inspiring hope.

The Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to Great GOSUBA, Sir UBA, and all members who contributed to making this initiative a success.
