A Joyful Celebration of Faith and Family: WUBAF Marks Child Dedication in Takoradi

Members of Wonadem UBA Foundation (WUBAF) from the Cent–West Zone came together in unity and joy on Sunday, 8th March 2026, to support Mr. and Mrs. Nyidewu during the child dedication ceremony of their son, Sachiel Dzorgbenyui Nyidewu.

The memorable event was held at Global Evangelical Church, Grace Chapel, where family members, friends, and church congregants gathered to celebrate this significant milestone in the life of the young child.

A Spirit-Filled Dedication Service

Demonstrating their strong commitment to fellowship and support, members of the foundation arrived early at the church premises. The main church service commenced at 10:10 a.m. and concluded at 11:40 a.m., after which the child dedication ceremony began.

During the ceremony, the officiating pastor offered heartfelt prayers for baby Sachiel, committing his life into the hands of God. Prayers were said for divine protection, wisdom, and guidance throughout his life. The pastor also blessed his parents, asking for strength and wisdom as they nurture and raise him.

The dedication service concluded at exactly 12:00 p.m., marking a deeply spiritual and joyful moment for the Nyidewu family and all present.

Fellowship and Cultural Connection

Following the church service, members proceeded to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Nyidewu for a time of fellowship and social interaction. The gathering beautifully reflected the strong sense of family and unity that defines WUBAF.

Guests were first served Aye-Kple, a cherished traditional delicacy, followed by fresh palm wine shared among members. Additional refreshments were also provided, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, hospitality, and cultural appreciation.

Appreciation to the Founder

In the midst of the celebration, members expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Founder, Sir UBA, for establishing a platform that continues to unite individuals through mutual support and shared values.

Through his vision, WUBAF has grown beyond an organization into a true family—one that fosters unity, socialization, and meaningful connections among members across various zones.
